About us
Our mission at Point Pleasant Kids Academy (PPKA) is to help your child develop and learn through creativity and play. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment to all students. We instill the academic and social skills necessary for primary school readiness.
PPKA also applies selective Montessori practices, learning through sensory-motor activities, working with materials that develop their cognitive powers through direct experience: seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and movement.

Point Pleasant Kids Academy helps children reach developmentally appropriate milestones, using an adaptable curriculum that meets the unique needs of each child.
We believe that fostering creativity, offering hands-on experiences, and connecting the classroom with the real world through themes, are effective ways to engage and develop young minds so they can thrive in Primary School and beyond.
The school was founded on the belief that we should celebrate the diversity of Trinidad and Tobago. We are committed to fostering meaningful connections with those in our neighborhood and extended community of students, families, teachers, and staff.
